One of the recurring challenges for security leaders is translating technical findings into business language. NNEAT Surface addresses this with a geolocalized exposure dashboard designed specifically for non-technical audiences.

The communication problem

A CISO may know exactly which assets are exposed and which ATT&CK techniques affect them. But when presenting that information to a CFO or the board, a bridge is needed. Technical dashboards do not work in that context — they generate noise, not decisions.

What the dashboard shows

Surface's EASM module now includes an executive view that:

  • Maps the organisation's exposed assets geographically
  • Shows exposure trend over time
  • Compares posture against similar organisations in the same sector
  • Highlights risks with the greatest potential business impact

What it enables in practice

These outputs connect directly to the language of budget conversations, board risk reports and cyber insurance renewals. Instead of justifying investments with technical metrics, the CISO can show measurable posture evolution and sector benchmarking.

Making EASM data legible to leadership is as important as collecting it. Without that bridge, technical visibility never becomes strategic decision-making.
